On the Ballistic Flow of Two-Dimensional Electrons in a Magnetic Field

In conductors with a very low defect density, electrons at temperatures collide mainly the sample edges; therefore, ballistic transport of charge and heat is implemented. An applied perpendicular magnetic field significantly modifies transport. For case two-dimensional electrons, in fields which diameter cyclotron trajectories smaller than width, hydrodynamic regime forms. this regime, flow controlled by rare electron–electron collisions, determine viscosity effect. work, we study long samples up to critical transition regime. By solving kinetic equation, obtain analytical formulas for current density Hall electric far close ballistic–hydrodynamic transition, as well longitudinal resistances these ranges. Our theoretical results apparently describe observed resistance pure graphene magnetic-field range below transition.
